How It Works
- Earn Points: Participate in our regular draft events to accumulate points
- Show Your Prowess: go undefeated (3-0) for bonus points
- Participation Rewards Increase Each Week: drafts count even more towards the season's grand finale!
- Climb the Leaderboard: accumulated points could secure you a spot in the exclusive, invite-only Top 8 Team Draft at the end of the season.
Invite Only Top 8 Draft
Rather than having a regular draft, we're going to do a one-off Team Draft for the Top 8.
- Build as a Team: In the Twenty Sided Top 8 Draft, drafting is a team effort. You'll select cards independently like in a normal but work together for deck construction and strategy.
- Win as a Team: The championship isn't just about individual glory; it's about coming together to triumph as a team. We'll have some unique rules as well.
In team draft, you don't share any cards, but you:
- Assist your teammates during deck construction
- Provide intel on your opponents' decks
- Have a shared team record from your individual matches
Special Draft Rules
- The two top overall point earners will be Team Captains
- We'll randomly assign teammates before the draft
- Each player will play 3 rounds, best of three
- Individual match results will add up to an overall team record
- The team with the better record, wins the tournament! (Usually it will be the first team to 7 match wins.)
- If there is team record tie, the head to head matchup of #1 vs. #2 will be the tie-breaker
Prizes
- Players on the winning team each get an exclusive Twenty Sided Draft Championship playmat
- Players on the winning team receive additional promo cards / box toppers / promo packs, etc
- Players on the losing team win the rares and foils from the draft
- Team Captains receive promo cards
Tie Breakers for Qualifying
If there is a tie to get into the Top 8, undefeated points will be the primary tie-breaker.
